Stimul-IT organized a Seminar about Security for ICT-professionals on the 27th of October, 2005 in Willemstad, Curacao.
Various speakers spoke about different subjects, ranging from ISA server or Tivoli to Cisco products and the regulations that the BPT keeps on this island.
Ace Suares of Suares & Co spoke about Open Source (Free Software) and Security. Topics included firewalls (Gibraltar, Smoothwall and Coyote Linux), Security Tools (Knoppix STD and Auditor CD, which was distributed to all particiapants) and privacy issues like GPG and encrypted harddisks.
